Airlift bio-fermentation equipment uses air nozzles to spray high-speed air, and the air is dispersed in the liquid in the form of bubbles. On the ventilated side, the average density of the liquid decreases, while on the non-ventilated side, the liquid density is higher, resulting in a density difference with the liquid on the ventilated side, thereby forming a liquid circulation in the fermentation equipment. There are many types of airlift fermentation equipment, among which the most common ones are internal circulation pipes, external circulation pipes, tension pipes and vertical baffles. The external circulation pipe is designed outside the tank body, and the internal circulation pipes are two and designed inside the tank body. In airlift fermentation equipment, the height of the circulation pipe is generally not higher than. The liquid level in the tank is not higher than the outlet of the circulation pipe and not lower than the circulation outlet. The advantages of airlift fermentation equipment are low energy consumption, less frying in the liquid, and simple structure. Under the same energy consumption, its oxygen transfer capacity is much higher than that of mechanical stirring and aeration fermentation equipment.
Matters needing attention in bio-fermentation equipment
(1) Before sterilizing the bio-fermentation equipment, be sure to check the liquid level of the tank, and require that all electrodes are not lower than the liquid level.
(2) Before turning on the power of the bio-fermentation equipment, be sure to check whether the cooling water is turned on and whether the temperature probe is inserted into the tank, otherwise the heating circuit will burn out.
(3) Keep the workbench clean during the fermentation process, clean the used culture bottles and other items in time, and wipe up the spilled acid and alkali solutions or water immediately.
(4) When installing, disassembling and disinfecting the tank, pay special attention to the fragile and expensive parts of the pH electrodes and tanks of the bio-fermentation equipment.
